Description

Govt. Central Model School, Lower Mall, Lahore for its Quality Education and Golden Traditions is one of the Historical Institution in Punjab. It was established in 1883. It was started as a Middle School in the building of Anarkali Girls High School. The present building of the School was constructed in 1887. The School was upgraded as a High School and shifted from Anarkali Girls High School to its present building in 1888. The Junior Wing was started in 1944. The School has a unique building which was included in the list of National Heritage of Pakistan. The School consists of two main wings i.e. Senior Wing and Junior Wing. The building of theSenior Wing further consists of Allama Iqbal Block, Quaid-e-Azam Block, Muhammad Bin Qasim Block, Muhammad Ali Johar Block, Tipu Sultan Block and G.N. Butt Block.

I studied two years in this school and did my matriculation. It was a unique experience and beautiful memories.The... building, vast class rooms, greenery all over the school, huge ground, big parade place, you can say for a growing kid it's a boost to increase his confidence.But🤣😅canteen and toilets seriously no comments on them.Science Lab, i remember visiting lab always like trip. The tiny dispensary and his attended, lol he was kind but always doubtful for sickness. As students used to sit and relax there when they had to skip the class.Teachers were good, staff was good. Who can forget the PT Sir 😅😆Well 20 years back Govt Central Model School Lower Mall Lahore was a prestigious institute and I hope it will be still one of the cream.read more

I studied here late in 1996 the construction of building was very unique and elegant, having a huge play ground.... Teachers were well educated but some of them were using abusive language too. I remembered the small canteen and they sell naan tiki 😊Lovely memories ❤read more

I was a student of this proud school and graduated in 1964. Later went to Government College and after that I was in... Pakistan Army as an officer , now retired and live in USA.Even today when I think of anything...it is Government Central Model High School.Insha’Allah when I visit Pakistan, I will make sure to visit my school which made me stand out in this world.read more

My father, all 4 brothers and myself studied from this prestigious institution.This school has contributed too much in... our lives and we all owe too much to teachers of this school.It is a government school but its educational standards were very high and almost every year all boards have top positions from this school.Long live this institution and great Respect for all teachers there.read more

My alma mater. I studied here from 1967 to 1972 and did my matriculation in 1972. The best Government school at that... time. People used to feel pride in sending their sons to this school. Standard has since deteriorated over the time and now it is perhaps in no competition with so many commercialized schools in the city.I love this place as it played a major role in building foundations of my personality as well as future academic studies.read more
