Description

Abbottabad Public School & College offers a residential facility for boys students and offers classes from 7 grade to 12 grade. The School offer Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical groups at the intermediate level. The School is an autonomous Institution controlled and managed by a Board of Governors, headed by the Provincial Minister for Education as its Chairman.

The School has purpose built campus with academic blocks, library, sports grounds, hostels for boys and staff, mess, mosque, cafeteria, etc.

Abbottabad Public School & College has been contributing profusely towards the promotion of education. It has proved to be a good nursery for the Armed Forces, Civil Services and Professional Institutions.

One of the oldest, with campus in acres,playing grounds,swimming pool,library, boarding facilities. A excellent institution for boys in Abbottabad which had students from Africa,Bangladesh, etc.Has produced doctors,engineers, judges,officers in armed forces of Pakistan, politician's, philanthropist. I being a ex student enjoyed participating in annual function.

Used to be one of the top boarding schools in Pakistan back in the 1950s to 1970s. Later , taken over by army and made into a mess . Over the past 15 years or so , it's plummeted very low and today it's academic and intellectual standards are very low indeed. It's only fit to produce candidates for military service .

One of the best school in Pakistan. They select students from all over Pakistan, mainly once during the year and I'm December. There are 4 playing fields, hockey, football, cricket. They have basketball courts, volleyball and indoor badminton.
