Description
Karachi Grammar School is an independent, English-medium school in Karachi. It is a highly selective, coeducational day school (formerly day/boarding school).
Established in 1847 by the Reverend Henry Brereton, the first chaplain of Karachi, as a school for “English and Anglo-Indo children”, it is the oldest private school in Pakistan and the second oldest in South Asia.
The College Section, also located in Clifton, is geared towards preparing students for the GCE Ordinary Level, Advanced Subsidiary Level, and Advanced Level examinations.

I can't say that KGS is a bad school because they didnt accept my admission for grade 7 despite passing the test. I... worked really hard and passed the test but for some reason I didn't pass the interview, eventhough I feel like I did well. I was exceedingly upset when I didn't get in eventhough I worked so hard. Moreover, KGS is still an amazing school.read more

Best school in the world. No match except kgs .Mere sirf ek problem hain. Principal rejected my admission of daughter... in the interview as my daughter was religious and went to the madrassah. Allah apko azaab dega.Admissions are given on public influence and astrology horoscopes used in children's admission. They also secretly take bribes.Still , very good students and they get to the top universities of the world.Kgs is amazing.read more

The admission office has no ethics and manners and they really need to learn how to talk with clients. My father tried... to call admissions for inquiry about my young siblings admissions and he encountered with a extremely douche bag guy on call who really doesn’t have manner how to talk.we just tried to call for admission information and the faculty at admission office were so disrespectful to my father.read more

One of the old and established name in education chain. They have kept their name and standards as per old days. Its a... name which comes top in Karachi. London waiting for new admissions due to name and standards. Parking is bit tricky in rush hours.read more
