Diamond Jubilee School, Hundur Yasin Valley

The Diamond Jubilee High School, Hundur, is over 40 years old, having been established initially as a primary school in 1972. It was first upgraded to a middle school in 1994, then to a community-led high school in 2001, and the community-led section was given over to AKES,P in 2016.The school serves over 350 students, 54% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 17 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 10 classrooms.The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Education Board.
