Aftab Hussain Shaheed Army Public School and College is surrounded by breathtaking scenic views in the beautiful city of Muzaffarabad. The School offers classes from Early Years to Grade 12. The School has purpose built campus for 2500 enrolled students with good educational facilities, labs, Jazba Gyms, playground and qualified teachers. APS was established in 1987 as Neelum Nursery School on a very small scale. It was converted to Army Junior Public School in 1989. It got upgraded to Secondary (SSC) level in 1999. It obtained the status of a college in 2004.
