The Diamond Jubilee High School, Hussainabad, is one of the oldest schools in Gilgit-Baltistan, having been established as a primary school in 1946. It was upgraded to a middle school in 1978, then to a high school in 1988.
The school serves almost 140 students, 43% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 25 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 10 classrooms. The school offers facilities such as a large sports ground and a multi-purpose hall.
