Hasegawa Memorial Public School & College is a premium educational setup started to provide quality education to both boys and girls of Hunza. It is situated at Karimabad, Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan. The idea of this school was conceived after Tsuneo Hasegawa; a world-famed climber was hit by an avalanche and expired on the spot while heroically attempting the Ulter Peak (7388m) on 10th October 1991. Mrs.Masami Hasegawa, the dedicated widow of Late Hasegawa resolved to keep her late husband’s name alive in shape of a memorial project in Karimabad, Hunza.
