Study Review Queue

Use this free Review Queue to organise topics you want to revisit. Add a subject, topic or question, then schedule reviews at sensible intervals so important information stays fresh.

It is useful for students preparing for exams, learning languages, revising definitions or practising material that is easy to forget.

How to use the Review Queue

  1. Add a subject, topic or question you want to review.
  2. Enter a short note about what you need to remember.
  3. Choose or confirm the next review date.
  4. Review the item when it appears in your queue.
  5. Mark it as understood, or schedule another review if you need more practice.

Keep entries short. For example, add “Photosynthesis equation” or “French irregular verbs” rather than a whole chapter.

What is spaced repetition?

Spaced repetition means reviewing information more than once, with time between each review. Instead of trying to memorise everything in one sitting, you revisit a topic before you are likely to forget it.

This approach can be helpful for vocabulary, formulas, definitions, dates, rules and other information that needs to be remembered over time.

Tips for effective reviews

  • Add topics soon after learning them.
  • Review difficult items more often.
  • Use short, regular sessions.
  • Combine the queue with flashcards or practice questions.
  • Do not mark an item complete until you can recall it confidently.

FAQs

What should I add to a review queue?

Add topics, facts, formulas, vocabulary, questions or concepts that you want to remember and revisit.

Is this the same as a to-do list?

Not exactly. A to-do list tracks tasks to finish. A review queue schedules learning material to revisit over time.

How often should I review a topic?

Review it soon after learning, then again after longer intervals if you can recall it confidently. Review difficult topics more frequently.

Can I use this for language learning?

Yes. It is useful for vocabulary, grammar rules, phrases and verb forms.

Is my review queue stored online?

The tool works in your browser. Save or print important information if you need to keep it.
